The Water Institute's 2015-16 WaterTalks Lecture Series continues with Dr. John Reynolds, Tom Buell BC Leadership Chair in Aquatic Conservation, Simon Fraser University.

Dr. Reynolds will deliver a lecture titled: Salmon-fuelled ecosystems of the Great Bear Rainforest.
Dr. John Reynolds is Professor of Aquatic Ecology and Conservation, and holds the Tom Buell BC Leadership Chair in Aquatic Conservation at Simon Fraser University. While much of John’s current research focuses on connections between salmon and ecosystems in British Columbia, past studies have ranged from mating systems of arctic birds to conservation of Cambodian watersnakes. John has held a wide variety of scientific advisory positions, including co-chair of the sub-committee that assesses extinction risk of marine fishes for COSEWIC, the body that advises the federal government on listing decisions for the Species at Risk Act.
For those unable to attend in person, the lecture will also be available via livestream during and after the lecture.
