The Indigenous & Black Engineering and Technology (IBET) PhD Project is a partnership of almost 15 Canadian universities committed to reducing the systemic barriers that exist for Indigenous and Black scholars pursuing doctoral degrees in STEM programs.

The Waterloo Nanotechnology Conference is returning this year on March 26, 2022. The event will be held virtually on Hopin and have in-person aspects for our poster presentation and networking. 

This event will be hosted on Hopin, so please register in advance to the Hopin platform with an account either through email or any partner services to access the event on the day of the event. 

Ten Student Teams Battle It Out For $60k In Prize Money at the Esch Pitch Competition

Watch as 10 outstanding Capstone teams pitch to win one of six $10,000 prizes. These teams were shortlisted from over 50 entries representing most programs in the Faculty of Engineering. The Esch Awards support creative and entrepreneurial students in the pursuit of research and development and its commercialization for the benefit of Canada.
