The Hearing Conservation Program establishes the requirements workers, supervisors and stakeholders must undertake to reduce risks associated with elevated noise exposures.
- Supervisors of work that involves the use of equipment or processes that generate excessive noise shall ensure controls are in place to minimize risk to workers.
- Workers identified to be at risk for elevated noise exposures shall complete the online Noise Awareness Training and ensure to use noise controls and PPE as prescribed.
