Two champions of Waterloo Engineering to receive honorary degrees
William Tatham and Réal (Ray) Tanguay, both strong supporters of engineering education at the University of Waterloo, will receive honorary doctorates during the university's spring convocation ceremonies on June 16.

The Waterloo Engineering Awards Dinner celebrates the achievements of our talented students and alumni.
The visiting professorship was founded in 1992 by the late Walter Bean, who was president of Waterloo Trust until its merger with Canada Trust in 1968. The professorship seeks to promote a legacy of community involvement and commitment to youth, education and community, and involves uWaterloo's faculties of Engineering, Environment and Science.
