On Tuesday, April 17th, 2012, Professor Mark W. Matsen from UK's University of Reading, will deliver a lecture titled "Ultra-low friction between surfaces coated with polyelectrolyte brushes".  This lecture is free and open to the public!

Dr. Hamid Firooz (winner of the Park Reilly Medal) will present his research on "Surface Tension and Adsorption Kinetics of Volatile Organic Amphiphiles in Aqueous Solution".

Guest speaker - Dr. Timothy Bender (University of Toronto) will speak on the topic of "Crystal Engineering of Boronsubphthalocyanine for Organic Electronic Applications".

On Thursday, April 12th, 2012, Professor Vaidhyanathan Ramamurthy from the University of Miami, will deliver a lecture titled "Chemistry in a Nanocapsule: Controlling excited state processes through confinement and weak interactions".  This lecture is free and open to the public!
