This Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion panel focuses on the stories of those who, after experiencing various types of discrimination, currently find themselves working in EDI.
Featuring presentations by Barrington Walker, PhD (Associate Vice-President, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Professor, Department of History at Wilfrid Laurier University), Elliot Chapple, PhD (Director, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigenization at Queen’s University), and Amber Sandy, MA (Coordinator, Indigenous Knowledge and Science Outreach at Toronto Metropolitan University), attendees will be given the opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and learn how to become better allies themselves.
