Monthly Movement Breaks

Monthly Movement Breaks!

One of the impacts of remote work is that many of us are moving less. Static sitting and standing can lead to a number of health issues, but finding ways to incorporate movement into our day can help us stay physically and mentally well.  Please join us for our 30 minute movement break, once a month during June, July and August. The fantastic staff from Warrior Recreation will bring us an assortment of ways to keep moving and share approaches to meet a variety of activity preferences. Each month will showcase a different type of movement, some silly and fun and some more serious and traditional. Activities are suitable for all levels. If you are living in shared accommodations, please feel free to invite family or housemates. No special equipment is needed, however you may wish to wear loose fitting clothing. You are welcome to take your laptop outside and enjoy the movement break outdoors. If you have any medical concerns, please consult with your physician and connect with the session facilator to determine if the session is appropriate for you.
