Alumnus Eric Migicovsky will be part of this year's Waterloo Innovation Summit

Migicovsky knows all about talent and innovation.

While on a co-op term at the Netherlands' Delft industrial school in 2008, he came up with an idea for technology that allowed the wearer to read their email and receive messages.  InPulse was the first iteration of the smartwatch that would evolve into the Pebble.

Eight years later, Migicovsky sold Pebble to FitBit and transitioned from entrepreneur to mentor as a partner in Y Combinator. [Full story]
