Wednesday, July 10, 2019

Students, staff, faculty members and local alumni of Waterloo Engineering will get into the spirit again Friday at a free event to celebrate its sense of community.

The fourth annual Engineering Day, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Carl Pollock Hall (CPH) courtyard on July 12, will include a purple colour throw, a barbecue, inflatable games, a dunk tank, soft-serve ice cream, purple Koolaid, popcorn, a photo booth, and The Tool and Tool Bearers.

“It’s all about being proud of belonging to this great faculty,” said events manager Kari Griffiths.

About 2,000 people are expected to attend.Attendees at Engineering Day in 2017 get into the purple colour throw.
