A team of Waterloo chemical engineering students captured first place in the seventh annual Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) Student competition held during the Electric Mobility National Conference in Toronto.

Seven Waterloo Engineering researchers have been awarded Early Research Awards. The announcement is part of larger investment by the Province of Ontario aimed at advancing Ontario’s competitive edge, and included 18 University of Waterloo researchers for a total of $2.5 million.

Each researcher will receive $140,000 over five years plus an additional $50,000 from the University. They are:
