“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!”, will be shown between Wednesday, March 16 and Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Registry Theatre, 122 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Performances begin at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm.
A montage of the comic strip, the play is an average day in the life of Charlie Brown. It is a lighthearted and fun play for families to bring their children to,
says Director, Adam Feiner.
The play includes 6 actors and four dancers, all students of Grebel,
remarks Feiner. Conrad Grebel has a residence program of 174 students and hosts the Music department at the University of Waterloo.
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!” is a musical based on the characters from the comic strip Peanuts. Original direction was by Michael Mayer, and production by Arthur Whitelaw and Gen Persson, in New York. The Late Charles Schulz wrote Peanuts for almost 50 years, making it the longest syndicated comic strip in history.
Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students. Tickets are available at Conrad Grebel University College, main reception desk, and at the door.
Media are invited to attend a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, March 10, 2005 at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm.
