Are you a future university student who is interested in speaking virtually with a current undergraduate student? Please submit the completed form below with your program of interest.
Waterloo EngChat Program
Register for a virtual EngChat with one of our undergraduate Engineering Student Ambassadors!
You'll have the chance to talk to one of our current undergraduate Engineering students about our Engineering programs, co-op experiences, academics and what it's like to be a student at the University of Waterloo! However, our students will not be able to respond to specific questions pertaining to admissions. We ask that you direct those questions to the Admissions Team at email@example.com.
For those interested in Engineering Graduate Studies, please complete the following form: https://mailchi.mp/7eb048444740/waterloo-engineering-graduate-studies-request-more-information
Please note: We will do our best to match you with an upper-year undergraduate student in your program of interest and to accommodate your date requests. EngChats are a student-run initiative and we will do our best to schedule a session within one-two weeks of your request. You may need to be flexible if you wish to speak with a student in a specific program as availability will depend on class schedules and other responsibilities. We ask that after you submit this form to keep an eye on your inbox (including your junk folder) for an email. EngChats will be done through Google Hangouts, Zoom, or Skype depending on your preference.
International students: If you have very specific questions related to international admissions (IELTS requirements, course equivalencies, etc.) this may not be the best platform for answering those questions as many of our students may not be equipped with the appropriate information. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for specific international-related questions. If you have questions regarding immigration, you should contact one of our ICCRC licensed immigration consultants.
Disclaimer: Submitting this form in December, April, or August may lead to a delayed response due to the ambassadors having exams and the switching of terms. Thank you for understanding!
