Waterloo EngChat Program
Register for a virtual EngChat with one of our Ambassadors!
You'll have the chance to talk to one of our current Engineering students about the Engineering program, Co-op experiences, academics and what it's like to be a student at the University of Waterloo!
If you are located outside of Ontario and have questions regarding admissions, you should contact the Registrar's Office Engineering Admissions team at email@example.com. If you have questions regarding immigration, you should contact one of our ICCRC licensed immigration consultants.
Staff from the UWaterloo Visitor Centre are online Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (ET) to chat live if you have general questions.
Please note: We will do our best to match you with an upper-year student in your program of interest and to accommodate your date requests. EngChats are a student-run initiative and we will do our best to schedule you for a session within one to two weeks of your request. You may be need to be flexible if you wish to speak with a student in a specific program as availability will depend on class schedules and other responsibilities. We ask that after you submit this form to keep an eye on your inbox (including your junk folder) for any incoming emails. Calls will be done through Google Hangouts, Zoom, or Skype depending on your preference.
International students: If you have very specific questions related to international admissions (IELTS requirements, course equivalencies, etc.) this may not be the best platform for answering those questions as many of our students may not be equipped with the appropriate information. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for specific international related questions.
Disclaimer: Submitting this form in December, April, or August may lead to a delayed response due to the ambassadors having exams and the switching of terms. We apologize for this delay!
