Engineering IEW Home and Abroad Photo Contest

This contest is now closed and we have a winner!

The Associate Dean-International Office is looking for your photos from home and abroad!

As part of this year’s University of Waterloo International Education Week celebrations, your photos will be electronically posted and Engineering students, faculty and staff are invited to vote on their favourite photos. The top photo selected will be printed and proudly displayed in the International Office area of E7’s seventh floor. The electronic exhibit and voting will run from Wednesday, September 23 – Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

What are we looking for?

Send us photos that creatively show the global perspective you’ve gained through travel, study, and/or work in Canada or abroad and the value of global citizenship. Your photos should/could address themes like: local food, life-altering moments, favourite spots, or your global identity.

Surprise us with what you’ve discovered around the globe!

Photo submissions must be at least 300 DPI. Photos must be 100% original content belonging to the person submitting the photo. Please also include a 50-100 word description of the significance of the photo to you in your global experience.

What’s the deadline?

Submissions are open until voting closes September 30!

Vote for your favourites!
