FIRST Robotics Competition, Waterloo Regional

Join us for the FIRST Robotics Competition, Waterloo Regional, hosted at the University of Waterloo in the Physical Activities Complex. Thirty-two high-school teams from across Ontario and the US will converge on the University of Waterloo for the three-day competition, where they will demonstrate their robot in this year's challenge, FIRST Stronghold.

The event is open to the public and admittance is free. Final rounds will occur on Saturday afternoon.

Thursday

7:45 am Robot load-in.
8:30 am Pit and machine shop open. Registration and inspection begins.
10:00-12:00 pm Practice rounds.
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch.
1:00-4:30 pm Practice rounds.
8:00 pm Pits and machine ship close.

Friday

8:00 am Pits and machine shop opens.
8:30-9:00 am Opening ceremonies.
9:00-12:00 pm Qualification rounds.
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch.
1:00-5:45 pm Qualification rounds.
5:45-6:30 pm Awards ceremony.
7:00 pm Pits and machine shop close.
7:00-8:30 pm Team Social

Saturday

8:00 am Pits and machine shop opens
8:30-9:00 am Opening ceremonies.
9:00-12:15 pm Qualification matches.
12:15-12:30 pm Alliance pairings.
12:30-1:30 pm Lunch.
1:30-4:30 pm Final rounds.
4:30-5:30 pm Awards ceremony.
6:30 pm Load-out.
