During this Office Hour, Mohit will talk about his career journey from his time earning his BASc at the University of Waterloo to where he is now as the president and CEO of Zochem, while sharing the importance of networking and connections for his career growth. He will also talk about how as a leader, he is a champion for environmental and social governance and how important this is for business success in the long term.

Biography
Mohit Sharma has had 20-year career in industrial manufacturing, with stints at General Motors (Oshawa, ON/Detroit, MI), Toyota (Cambridge, ON), IntraPac International (Mississauga, ON), and Zochem (Brampton, ON). Throughout his career he has had increasing responsibilities from Production Supervisor, Process Engineer, New Product Launch Manager, Plant Manager, and now President & CEO. Throughout his entire career his focus has been to improve business culture and meet stretch goals through a data driven approach, and a people first attitude. He is looking forward to connecting with students and alumni to provide guidance and show leadership on the avenues that are possible with an engineering degree, while focusing on your passions and what success means to you. He has a BASc (2004) from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA (2018) from the Ivey School of Business.
