- Lecture with the Dean of Engineering
Professor Mary Wells, the Dean of Engineering, will deliver a 60-minute visionary lecture about the future of engineering at the University of Waterloo, followed by a Q&A session. - Engineering Research Talks
Learn from Waterloo Engineering faculty members about the transformational and cutting-edge research taking place on campus. These research talks, consisting of five presentations of five minutes each, will focus on the University of Waterloo’s five global futures framework: societal, health, technological, sustainable and economic. These five Waterloo at 100 global futures address the world’s most pressing challenges and the University’s relentless commitment to fundamental research and scholarship. Alumni will have the opportunity to ask questions about the research. Our world is changing, and we must evolve with it – learn how through these research talks. - Back-to-the-Classroom Lecture with Prof. Larry Smith
“Warning, warning. Danger, danger.” In these perilous times, the Canadian economy must now try to accommodate marketplace distortions of unprecedented degree. The global economy and its security frameworks are also under siege. The response of the Canadian governments will be considered.
The Waterloo Engineering alumni class reunion in 2026 is for the Classes of 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021.
