Waterloo Engineering Alumni Wine Pairing Reception in Vancouver

Thursday, April 4, 2013 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT (GMT -07:00)

SALT - Cellar Room

Join us for happy hour and pre-game social at SALT's Cellar Room to meet the new Dean of Engineering, Pearl Sullivan.  The Dean will give a brief update about the Faculty of Engineering and the newest changes on campus.  Experience artisanal products paired to fine wine in a unique and relaxing atmosphere sitting at a 30' communal long table.  The event features a wine flight (consisting of three 2 ounce portions) paired to artisanal cheeses, local charcuterie (meats) and local condiments. SALT's knowledgeable sommelier, Kyle Gartlan-Close, will walk guests through the wine tasting and pairing to complete the experience.

You will have the opportunity to meet Waterloo Engineering alumni, faculty, co-op students, friends, and special guests at this reception.

The cost of the event includes all food, wine flight, and host bar so you can then enjoy a glass of your favourite wine from the tasting.  SALT is located in Gastown which is a 4 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to Rogers Arena in the event that you have tickets to the Canucks vs Oilers game that night or have other plans.

Due to the nature of this event, you and your guest(s) must be 19 or older to attend.
