The Water Institute hosts this WaterTalk featuring Dr. Murugesu Sivapalan. Dr. Sivapalan is Chester & Helen Siess Endowed Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois, and a professor of Geography and Geographical Information Science.

Waterloo Engineering alumni living or working in the Seattle area are invited to meet and catch up with fellow alumni for an after-work reception at the Brave Horse Tavern. Drinks and appetizers will be provided with complimentary registration.

Previously known as the Velocity Fund $5K, the Concept $5K Grant provides funding in a way that is impactful to students by incorporating pitch experience into its funding program. Students are eligible to apply to pitch an early-stage startup idea to qualify for a chance to win one of four $5,000 grants.
