Join us at the Student Life Centre in the Great Hall to celebrate your milestone achievement! The receptions start right after each convocation ceremony.

Anne Bordeleau, O’Donovan Director of the School of Architecture, invites alumni, students, friends and the community to a reception at the Cambridge campus to celebrate the illustrious teaching career of professor Donald McKay.

After the reception, there is an opportunity to hear professor McKay deliver “The Last Lecture”.

Registration includes light refreshments and one drink; cash bar thereafter.

Alumni of the Faculty of Engineering are invited to a 5 à 7 casual gathering in Montreal. Feel free to drop-in for a drink and refreshments during this casual 5 à 7 at the Bier Markt after work to hear the latest news from your alma mater and to connect with classmates.

Waterloo Engineering alumni are invites to reminisce about the University of Waterloo, network with classmates and fellow alumni, and hear first-hand what’s happening on campus from Paul Fieguth, Department Chair, Systems Design Engineering.
 
Drop by for a few minutes or stay all evening - this FREE event is open to all engineering alumni and current engineering students living or working in the Seattle area. Food and drinks will be provided and there will be prizes to be won

The co-founders of the world-renowned humanitarian organization Engineers Without Borders, George Roter (BASc 1999) and Parker Mitchell (BASc 1999), will deliver a public lecture titled "Global Impact One Engineer at a Time: Why we Founded Engineers Without Borders" about their journey from their time as engineering students at the University of Waterloo, to the founding of Engineers Without Borders and its global impact, and their careers since and beyond.

Engineering 7 Grand Opening

Please join us on Monday, October 29, 2018 for the Official Grand Opening of Engineering 7, as we celebrate this significant addition to Waterloo Engineering and the successful completion of our Educating the Engineer of the Future campaign.

Join us for this important event, bringing together policy makers, technology innovators, leading researchers and entrepreneurs!

Forum Goals and Objectives:

- The goal of the Forum is to explore the effect of emerging technologies on the distribution sector business models.

Join Dr. Vincent Gaudet, Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, for a special alumni-brewed beer tasting and reception at 3 Brewers Sparks to network and get a brief update about the Faculty of Engineering and the newest changes on campus. Join us in tapping casks of crafted beer by our very own Waterloo Engineering alumni and enjoy a selection of expertly paired appetizers, while beer ambassadors guide us through the beer tasting to complete the experience.

Please join us on the slopes to ski or snowboard at this exclusive and beautiful private resort! Once again this year, we are partnering with the Faculty of Science and Science alumni will join us on the hills.
