As a Waterloo Engineering student, you'll be part of Canada's largest undergraduate engineering program, and helping to shape the future.
Engineering - the Waterloo way
Waterloo Engineering pioneered co-operative education in Canada, and continues to be a world-leader in education through innovative and experiential learning.
- Graduate with the advantage: All of our students take on six co-op work terms, alternating with their study terms. By the time they graduate, students have two years of relevant paid work experience, and sometimes even a job offer!
- Direct entry means direct access: You won't have to compete with classmates for your major of choice. Plus, you'll get a head start at building valuable skills and knowledge, within your specific field.
- Incredible community: Our programs are divided into cohorts of 120 students or less, leading to strong relationships with your classmates, opportunities for collaboration, and a great faculty to student ratio.
- A leader in student experience: Students have many opportunities with 25 undergraduate design teams, world-leading resources and facilities, a vibrant Engineering Society, international exchanges, student competitions, entrepreneurial support, and so much more!
