Alison Brooks (BES ’85 and BARCH ‘88, Arch) has been named Woman Architect of the Year by the prestigious Architects Journal, one of the top international architecture periodicals published in London, England. Brooks, who founded Alison Brooks Architects in London, was recently honoured as Outstanding Architect in England.
Rick Haldenby, director of Waterloo's School of Architecture, calls Brooks' work "exceptional" and says it's hard to think of any other architect who has received such recognition. [eWEAL article]
