In an announcement made March 14, Kirsty Duncan, the minister of science, committed more than $23 million in funding for 95 projects at 26 universities across Canada through the John R. Evans Leaders Fund. The fund is designed to help universities attract and retain the best and brightest researchers from around the world by giving them access to cutting-edge research tools.
