Lin Tan, a Waterloo electrical and computer engineering professor, Jinqiu Yang, Tan's PhD student, and collaborators from IBM received the 2015 CAS Research Project of the Year Award for their project is entitled Prioritizing and Visualizing Security Findings.
The award was presented at CASCON (Centre for Advanced Studies Conference), a computer science conference hosted by IBM Canada Software Lab from November 2 to 4 in Markham, Ontario. The conference is a forum for researchers, innovators, technologies and developers from academia, industry, and government to share knowledge, form collaborations, present original work and experience first-hand the latest technology trends.
