Grad students can sign up for new climate change diploma

Thursday, April 25, 2024

Waterloo Engineering grad students will be able to add an interdisciplinary diploma in climate change to their studies beginning this fall.

The first in-Canada diploma will be available to every enrolled master’s and doctoral student across all University of Waterloo faculties at no extra cost.

The interdisciplinary program will leverage collaboration across disciplines and work towards the University’s goal of training the next generation of climate change professionals.

This program was developed by members of the Waterloo Climate Institute, which spans all six of the university’s faculties and has one of the largest concentrations of climate change researchers in Canada.
