Systems design engineering professor Dr. Alexander Wong was recently announced as a new Royal Society of Medicine fellow.
Wong’s introduction as a fellow allows him to join a prestigious group of healthcare professionals who are passionate about advancing health through education and innovation.
Wong has significantly contributed to artificial intelligence and medical imaging, efficient deep learning on the edge, automatic machine learning (AutoML), and computational imaging systems.
Established in 1805, the Royal Society of Medicine is the world’s largest medical society dedicated to providing high-quality continuing post-graduate education and learning to the medical profession. It also operates one of the largest medical libraries in the world with over 150,000 books and 17,000 journals.
