Professors win Google Research Awards

Tuesday, March 11, 2014

Lin Tan and Wojciech Golab of electrical and computer engineering have been honoured with Google Research Awards. Tan's software engineering project and Golab's systems project were two of the 115 projects to be funded out of the 691 proposals received from researchers working in 46 countries. Their awards each include tuition for a graduate student and the  the opportunity to work directly with Google researchers and engineers. This is the second time Tan has won a Google award -- she also received one in 2010.
