Two Waterloo professors, Dr. Alfred Yu and Dr. John Yeow, have been selected as fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Yu, Electrical and Computer Engineering professor and Assistant Vice-President, Research and International, was recognized by the organization for his leading contributions in the field of ultrasound imaging and therapy.
Yeow, who is a professor in the department of Systems Design Engineering and Canada Research Chair in Micro and Nanodevices, was elevated to fellow for his contributions to the understanding and applications of nanostructures and nanocomposites.
