Friday, May 15, 2020

The University of Waterloo announced today that it will take a combined approach to the upcoming fall term in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

That means all large classes will be held online, with in-person delivery of some small classes and supports if conditions allow and with strict adherence to social distancing guidelines.

"It has been nine weeks since the University of Waterloo took steps to move academics online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic," Feridun Hamdullahpur, the president and vice-chancellor, wrote in a message to students today. "Thank you for your continued flexibility, patience and resilience during this unprecedented time."
