About the Program
The Accelerated Professional Master's Program (Master of Engineering (MEng) or Master of Management Science (MMSc)) offers undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to fast-track their Professional Master’s degree. Through this program, students can complete their degree in as little as two terms after earning their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree.
The MEng/MMSc degree requires the completion of eight graduate-level courses. The Accelerated Professional Master's Program allows students to complete up to two of these courses during their undergraduate studies. Participants can take one graduate-level course in their 4A term and another in their 4B ter or during a work term.
Eligibility for the Program
The minimum requirements to get accepted into the Accelerated Masters program are as follows:
- Maintain a cumulative average of 80% throughout undergraduate studies by the end of your 3B term.
- Achieve a grade of at least 65% in any graduate-level course taken as part of your undergraduate program.
Additionally, students in the Accelerated Masters program who maintain a cumulative average of 80% or higher in their last 20 undergraduate courses and achieve a minimum of 78% in their graduate courses will receive priority admission to the Accelerated Masters program upon application.
Applying for the Accelerated Professional Master's Program
Students interested in applying for the Accelerated Professional Master's Program in the Departrment of their choice should download and fill out the application form, follow the steps outlined below, and register before the end of their 3B term.
