Community Supper is one of Grebel's core traditions. Creating time to intentionally share a meal and connect with others during a busy week is one way that Grebel has built a strong community of students. These relationships extend well into alumni life, with many alumni fondly remembering the inspiring (and sometimes ridiculous) conversations they had around the dinner table. 

Don't miss your chance to return to Grebel for an Alumni Community Supper! On Wednesday, October 15 at 6:00 PM, you're invited to join other alumni and families for homemade bread, a delicious meal, and the companionship of other Grebelites. 

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • President Marcus Shantz (BA 1995) will share the latest news from Grebel.
  • Meet Grebel's new Director of Development Chris Brnjas (BA 2012, MTS 2014).
  • Celebrate Custodian Peter Hart as he heads into retirement at the end of October. Jessalyn Teed (BES 2017) will share some of her favourite memories of Peter.
  • Pre-order Commie Supper Bread and cookies to bring home that evening.
  • Send your high schoolers on a tour after supper to check out the residence rooms and student spaces.
  • Take a tour yourself to see how Grebel has changed since you were a student.
