Attend a film screening of The Fault In Our Stars and follow up discussion from 7:oo p.m.-9:30 p.m. at Grebel, as part of the Absent Friends Film Series.
Based on The New York Times best-selling book by John Green, The Fault In Our Stars follows two adolescents living with cancer who fall in love.
The Absent Friends Film Series challenges us to talk about the often taboo topics of death, dying and grief.
The Hospice of Waterloo Region is collaborating with St. Jerome's University Lectures in Catholic Experience to host a series of films, follows by a small-group discussion led by special guests that address issues of death, dying, and loss. The series hopes to inspire us to build a more compassionate community.
