International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition

Move over pokey Google self-driving cars, here comes a pack of robot cars racing around an outdoor track in a bid to see which one is the fastest. The race is the annual International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition (IARRC), hosted by the University of Waterloo.

This year's event will take place on a large track in the parking lot of Engineering 5. All races are open to the public and begin at 11 a.m. In case of rain, the main competition will be held in the Sedra Student Design Centre (Engineering 5) on Sunday, July 19.

- information for engineering students who are in 1B or 2A and would like more information about exchange opportunities

- information for engineering students who have already submitted or are in the process of completing their exchange application

Torben Ostergaard is a partner of 3XN, one of the leading architectural firms in Denmark.
