This full day conference for first and upper year engineer students will showcase a variety of guest speakers and workshops focused on helping participants navigate through both student life and career preparation. From planning out your next four years in undergrad to learning what to expect when you enter the workforce, this conference will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to achieve your goals with confidence.

Through interactive exercises and discussions, the Men’s Circle Workshop will explore some of the ways in which men can become leaders in creating a safer campus for everyone.

Blood for Life

Cancer patients, transplant recipients, accident victims. For these people and so many more, a timely transfusion of blood can be the lifesaving difference. Half of all Canadians will either need blood or know someone who needs it. The need is constant. It’s something you can do today to ensure someone else is waking up healthy tomorrow.

Previously known as the Velocity Fund $5K, the Concept $5K Grant provides funding in a way that is impactful to students by incorporating pitch experience into its funding program. Students are eligible to apply to pitch an early-stage startup idea to qualify for a chance to win one of four $5,000 grants.

As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series, Dr. Edson Wendland, a Professor and Dean of the Engineering School of São Carlos, will present “Hydrology of the 2014 São Paulo, Brazil Water Crisis”.
