The Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) is a graduate entrepreneurship masters program that combines interdisciplinary courses with practical experiences in venture creation and commercialization. In MBET, students learn inside and outside the classroom. Networking, practical experience, and hands-on learning with like-minded people in the Waterloo entrepreneurship community that complement the core Masters-level courses inside the classroom.

Join us for this virtual webinar to learn about vaccine development and the complexities involved, portable and rapid diagnostic testing, and innovative ways of using imaging for screening and diagnosis.

Developing new functional materials is the foundation of nanotechnology. We will start the series with an introduction to entrepreneurship support resources available to graduate students on the UW campus and in the Region of Waterloo. You will learn more about on-campus program called CONCEPT from our guest speaker, Carly. You will hear the story behind the creation of Mirexus Biotechnology Inc., and finally, you will learn some basic concepts of entrepreneurial business analysis from Oleg Stukalov.

This third and final research-focused webinar considers what our virtual future may look like. We will need to improve productivity with better design and automation, make telecommuting more effective and apply to more job roles, learn new ways of managing a dispersed workforce, all while ensuring we remain connected to and engaged with colleagues, employers, families, and friends.
