You are invited to join the Forum and network with over 200 guests and exhibitors participating in the Innovation Showcase representing the microgrid and innovative technology industry. Participating in the Forum are corporate, government, industry and institutional representatives from: wind, solar, micro-hydro, geothermal, and storage systems, engineering, electric mobility (G2V, V2H, and V2G), energy storage and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), equipment manufacturers, utilities, consultants, federal, provincial and municipal governments, communities and students.

The Innovation Showcase will bring together the most current corporate and institutional state-of-the-art technologies. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to network, ask questions, and interact with our expert panelists.

The keynote address,'Innovation in Ontario's Electricity Sector', will be delivered by Bruce Campbell. Bruce is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electricity System Operator. Under Mr. Campbell's leadership, the IESO oversees the safe and reliable operation of Ontario's build electrical system and market as well as long-term energy planning and procurement, and the promotion of a conservation culture in the province of Ontario.

As the Forum's Keynote Speaker, Mr. Campbell will discuss the integration of emerging technologies, microgrids and distributed generation in the IESO's operation and planning of the Ontario electricity sector and how he sees these trends evolving in the future.

The Forum will also bring together the most current corporate and institutional state-of-the-art technologies in an Innovation Showcase. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to network, ask questions, and interact with our expert speakers and panelists.

As a special feature of our Innovation Showcase we are pleased to announce the 2016 Hydrogen Student Design Contest Winners. The team was mentored by Professor Michael Fowler and Dr. Azadeh Maroufmashat of Chemical Engineering, and included Chemical Engineering students Ushinik Mukherjee, Mohammed Barbouti, Nidhi Juthani, Jonathan Ranisau, Aaron Trainor and School of Planning student Hadi El-shayeb.
