Part of Canada's largest engineering school, the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering department at the University of Waterloo is home to 2,400 undergraduates, 400 graduate students, faculty, and staff.

Our Graduate programs are designed to produce skilled problem solvers, leaders, and innovators able to create mechanical systems and electro-mechanical designs that impact industries and improve the world. 

We have research and course-based programs. Course-based programs are about building general skills and research-based programs give you you an opportunity to work in research with a supervisor.
