Carl Haas, a Waterloo civil and environmental engineering professor, was recognized with the American Society of Civil Engineer's 2015 Peurifoy Construction Research Award during the 2015 International Construction Specialty Conference held in Vancouver from June 8-10.
Haas was honoured “for his outstanding long-term contributions in the research and science of construction technology, productivity, and workforce improvement.” In particular, the selection committee noted the Canada Research Chair's work in automated critical lift planning.
