Felix Arndt
Biography
Felix Arndt is a Professor and the Eyton Director of the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and a Research Fellow at the Center for Business and Sports of the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden.
Dr. Arndt’s passion is to debunk common misperceptions in business and entrepreneurship. His research looks at the role of (new) technology/innovation, geopolitics, and political strategies for entrepreneurship and business.
Felix is the Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. He is currently a representative-at-large of the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division.
Teaching for Felix is a passion and a privilege. He taught in top-ranked Master, MBA, and EMBA programs around the world. Felix has been involved in the foundation of several entrepreneurship centers, and entrepreneurship and executive programs, teaching a range of topics from innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, and leadership to international business.
Felix is an active entrepreneur and investor. As an engineer by training, he is fascinated by new technologies and their application. He has held patents, has experience as an entrepreneur, expert witness, on the director level in consulting, and as a lobbyist. Felix is a recognized executive and start-up coach who provides consulting services to the private sector and policy advice to the government and supranational institutions such as the Worldbank. He is currently a board member of Boundless Accelerator.
