Alumni Teacher Brunch and Distinguished Alumni Service Award Presentation 

The COVID pandemic has had an incredible impact on education. Teachers have responded admirably to many challenges. A panel of Alumni teachers will share their experiences and the Alumni Committee will present the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Service award to Ann Schultz, a Music alumna who has just retired from her role as Principal at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate.

Panel Host:

Henry Winter BA 88 (Sociology/PACS) Recently retired from Eastwood Collegiate in Kitchener will convene the discussion.

Panelists:

Aleda Klassen BA 05 (English/Math) is teaching Math and English at Waterloo Collegiate Institute.  

Lisa Shantz BA 96 (English/PACS) is teaching Music at Suddaby Elementary in Kitchener. 

Justin Martin BA 01 (German/Music) is teaching Grade 8 at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate. 

Alumni Chair Michael Shum BASC 11 (Mechanical Eng/Biomechanics) and President Marcus Shantz BA 95 (History/PACS) will present the award to Ann.
