Music Symposium

The University of Waterloo Department of Music presents a Music Symposium to all students (current and prospective), staff, faculty and members of the community. The department has invited Dr. Joshua D. Pilzer and Dr. Trichy Sankaran to give a keynote presentation and a lecture demonstration.

This is an opportunity to attend various open events including classes, rehearsals and student performances.

Bluegrass incorporates influences from black spirituals, blues and jazz into Maritime traditional songs, fiddle and dance music.  Carol Barnett's The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass is the featured piece.
