Spirituality and Aging is a program area of the Research Institute for Aging.  Its two-fold purpose is to promote research in the field of spirituality and aging that will enhance the the well-being of older adults, and to be a resource to students, community clergy, chaplains, and caregivers through university classes, public lectures, and workshops.

Book Launch - "Seeking Places of Peace" (Global Mennonite History- North America)

Come celebrate the book launch of "Seeking Places of Peace: Global Mennonite History - North America" by Royden Loewen and Steven M. Nolt. Overseen by historians John A. Lapp and C. Arnold Snyder, this North American Mennonite history book is the fifth and final volume in the Global Mennonite History Series sponsored by Mennonite World Conference.

Arnold Snyder will provide a short overview of the project. Royden Loewen will also be in attendance.

MCEC invites you to a free public presentation by Gordon Matties from Canadian Mennonite University on Thursday, February 21, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Conrad Grebel University College. The book of Joshua has been used to support war, conquest, and genocide. “In a time of religious justification for terrorism and counterterrorism, Joshua may well be a book for our time!” – Gordon Matties.
