Emergency Preparedness Information

It is important to remember that an emergency can take place at any time. This preparedness information addresses the most common emergency situations, including procedures for fire alarms, medical emergencies, violent situations, suspicious persons, and environmental or physical threats outside of the facility that require sheltering in place.

These short slide decks aim to provide key information that you can use in the event that an emergency occurs.

Registration

Follow these directions to self-register:

  1. Go to LEARN 
  2. Log in using your University of Waterloo WatIAM username and password
  3. Click the "Self Registration" link at top of the page
  4. Click the course name from the list and choose "Register"
  5. Click on the WATERLOO LEARN logo in the top left to return to your LEARN homepage
  6. Go to the "Courses and Communities" section and click on the course to begin
