All alumni of the chemical engineering program and the nanotechnology engineering program are invited to join online for a department update on Monday September 22 or Wednesday September 24 with the chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Mario Ioannidis, and select professors.

The Waterloo Engineering alumni class reunion in 2026 is taking place on June 6. The engineering Classes of 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021 are invited to campus to celebrate this milestone in their engineering career.

Watch as 12 outstanding Capstone teams compete for over $100k in prizes. These teams were shortlisted from over 50 entries representing most programs in the Faculty of Engineering. The Esch Awards support creative and entrepreneurial students in the pursuit of research and development and its commercialization for the benefit of Canada.
