Engineering's annual Design Symposiums showcase the work of our fourth-year students to members of the University of Waterloo and our surrounding community. Completed over the past year, the fourth-year projects cover a wide range of solutions for real-world challenges that reflect the interests and concerns of our graduating students.

Pearl Sullivan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, invites you to an exclusive networking and learning opportunity at the Waterloo Engineering Alumni Reception hosted by Terry Cunningham (BASc 1983, Mechanical), President and General Manager of EVault, a Seagate Company, at his newest offices in downtown San Francisco.

The University of Waterloo is proud to host the FIRST LEGO League's first-ever West Ontario Provincials. This year's challenge is "Senior Solutions", asking students to investigate new ways to help seniors stay independent, engaged, and connected. Winners will compete at the World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri or at one of the International Open Championships (held this year in Germany, Florida, and California).

Come for a great day of curling with fellow engineering classmates.

Singles, couples and teams (of 4 people) are welcome as are beginners, intermediate and advanced level players. Register early as space is limited!
