As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series, Diane Orihel, National Scholar in Aquatic Ecotoxicology and assistant professor in Biology and Environmental Studies at Queen’s University, and Alana Greaves, environmental toxicologist and a postdoctoral researcher with Queen’s University present, "The importance of ecosystem-based ecotoxicology for advancing environmental policy, with special reference to Canadian Oil Sands development."

Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op) allows students to pursue an entrepreneurial co-op option in which students start their own business while earning a co-op credit. E Co-op is open to students from all faculties with any type of business concept: no-tech, low-tech, high-tech, service, consulting and more. The University of Waterloo and the Waterloo Centre for Automotive Research (WatCAR) are proud to once again host the AutoTech Symposium on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 on campus.

Organized by the Waterloo Economic Development Corporation (Waterloo EDC) and the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association of Canada (APMA), the symposium brings together innovative automotive and technology companies active in disrupting mobility. This event connects participants with each other, as well as key players in the areas of security software, artificial intelligence, and automation.
