Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Speakers Series hosted by the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business.
The Conrad School is hosting a lunch hour Speakers' Series as part of the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019 global awareness and celebration. Please join us to network and hear 20-minute presentations covering entrepreneurship topics. Lunch will be provided.
Water Impact of Your T-shirt: 2700 litres!
You may not know that it takes 2,700 litres of water to make one t-shirt - enough for one person to drink for 900 days.
Now, a technology developed at the University of Waterloo, is making apparel production more sustainable by reducing the amount of water needed from 2700 litres to less than 100 litres.
Join us for a demonstration of this transformational technology and see how clothing manufacturing can take a step towards a more sustainable future.
Social Impact Showcase
Join us at the Social Impact Showcase on December 5th, where we will be celebrating the diversity of our GreenHouse innovators and their journeys in social innovation and entrepreneurship. We will be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas, and the Social Impact Fund winners will be sharing their stories.

Ten student teams have practiced and perfected their pitches and are ready to compete at the finals! Join the audience for an exciting Concept $5K Finals where emerging student entrepreneurs pitch live for their share of $20K in funding. Each competitor has just 3 minutes to pitch their startup idea to a panel of esteemed judges.
