All alumni of the chemical engineering program and the nanotechnology engineering program are invited to join online for a department update on Monday September 22 or Wednesday September 24 with the chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Mario Ioannidis, and select professors.

The Waterloo Engineering alumni class reunion in 2026 is taking place on June 5 and 6. The engineering Classes of 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021 are invited to campus to celebrate this milestone in their engineering career.

The Faculty of Engineering hosts a launch party for the Ring Road Lager in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Iron Ring.

The Faculties of Engineering and Science are delighted to host an alumni reception in Boston, at Industrious, Back Bay on April 9, 2025. Enjoy food and refreshments while you personally connect (or reconnect) with your University of Waterloo classmates and hear the latest news from Science and Engineering. The School of Architecture is excited to invite alumni who graduated in a year ending in a 0 or 5 for a special reunion celebration! For those with multiple degrees received from Waterloo Architecture, we invite you to count from your first degree awarded (i.e. 1980, 1985, 1990… etc.)

Join your classmates for a casual gathering in the afternoon at the Cambridge campus, where we’ll host a talk and a tour of Waterloo Architecture’s 2025 Masterworks exhibition on view in Riverside Gallery, featuring exemplary thesis projects from several recent architecture graduate students.

It's a full day of discovery at TronCon 2025! TronCon will coincide with the Mechatronics Capstone Design Symposium to give alumni an opportunity to view the newest batch of Capstone design projects (FYDPs) by fourth year mechatronics students, get involved in judging the capstone design projects, and reconnect with the Tron community at the event and at the dinner that follows.
