Explore the exciting field of engineering through this special event for girls!  Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.  Go Eng Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls across Ontario to visit their local university to learn about the wonderful world of engineering: "A Caring Profession".

A general information session for engineering students about the possibilities of doing academic exchanges in their 3A, 3B, and/or 4A term.

On Friday, May 18th 2012, Professor Kien Wen Sun from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, will deliver a lecture titled "Applications of Nanotechnology on Solar Energy Harvesting". This lecture is free and open to the public!

On Tuesday, May 15th 2012, Professor Guillaume Wantz from Bordeaux Institute of Technology, France, will deliver a lecture titled "Organic Photovoltaic Research at Bordeaux University: A Focus on Advanced Materials for Efficient and Stable Solar Cells". This lecture is free and open to the public!

The Atacama Desert, Andes Mountains, long coastline and strong agriculture provide the country with abundant distributed renewable energy resources that could, according to recent estimations, largely surpass the fast-growing electricity demand.

On Tuesday, April 17th, 2012, Professor Mark W. Matsen from UK's University of Reading, will deliver a lecture titled "Ultra-low friction between surfaces coated with polyelectrolyte brushes".  This lecture is free and open to the public!
