Alumni, students, employers, industry partners, media, and members of the general public are invited to join us in Engineering 7 for the following Capstone Design events :

Wednesday March 15^th

Electrical and Computer Engineering – 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Friday March 17^th

Management Engineering – 10 am to 2 pm

Mechanical Engineering – 1 pm to 4:30 pm

Nanotechnology Engineering – 1 pm to 5 pm

Tuesday March 21^st

Systems Design Engineering – 12 pm to 4 pm

Biomedical Engineering – 12 pm to 4 pm

Thursday March 23^rd

Civil, Environmental and Geological Engineering – 1 pm to 4:30 pm

Architectural Engineering – 1 pm to 4:30 pm – PROGRAM’S FIRST CAPSTONE

Friday March 24^th

Mechatronics Engineering – 1 pm to 4:30 pm
 

Monday March 27^th

Chemical Engineering – 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Tuesday March 28^th

Software Engineering – 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Supported by numerous awards, Capstone Design provides Waterloo Engineering students with the unique opportunity to conceptualize and design a project related to their chosen discipline.

As a requirement for the completion of their degrees, Capstone Design challenges student program teams to push their own boundaries, and apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and on co-op work terms.  It reinforces the concepts of team work, project management, research and development.
