During this Office Hour, Jeff will talk about his experience as a successful entrepreneur and lessons learned, while sharing career advice and his tips on entrepreneurship. Biography

Jeff Francoz has spent most of his 35+ year business career as the successful leader of entrepreneurial companies, which he founded in partnership with a few long-time trusted associates. He is currently the President and CEO of Sterling Maple Corp., a newly created real estate development company with its first project focused on the build of seniors apartments on a scenic property in Kingston, Ontario.

Prior to Sterling Maple Corp. Jeff was the co-founder, President and CEO of Aquilon Capital Corp. and Aquilon Power Corp. Aquilon Capital was an investment dealer and manager operating in the Toronto area providing investment management services to wealthy individuals and family offices.  Aquilon Power Corp. was a Toronto based physical electricity trading operation. After 18 years of successful operations, Aquilon Capital was sold to National Bank of Canada. 

Jeff’s career roots are in engineering, graduating in 1982 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil). Jeff worked at Swan Wooster Engineering in Vancouver, as a structural design engineer and project manager for several years after graduation.
